Last year, World Book Night was held in the UK and gave away 1 million books to light readers and those who don’t read at all. This year, World Book Night is being held in the United States and the United Kingdom! 50,000 volunteers is the goal and each one will be given 20 books to hand out to people who either read very little or not at all.
